Meet Dr. Jordan Sudberg

Pain Management Specialist in New York

Based in the New York metro area, Dr. Jordan Sudberg is a pain management specialist who serves as CEO and medical director at Spine & Sports Rehabilitation. He leverages more than a decade of practical and research experience to provide patients with services such as physical therapy, mobility therapy, pain medicine consultations and therapeutic injections. Dr. Jordan Sudberg is particularly versed in ultrasound-guided peripheral joint injections, steroid injections, NCVs/EMGs, and Synvisc. He has additional experience in pain reduction and movement disorder exercises. 

Prior to joining Spine & Sports Rehabilitation in 2018, Dr. Jordan Sudberg spent five years managing another private physical medicine and rehabilitation practice at Herald Square in New York City. He also worked as a sports medicine and pain management specialist on Long Island and at United Wellness Medical PC in Flushing. He additionally served as a medical researcher at Harvard Medical School and Columbia University and has made presentations on topics like electrodiagnostic medicine and motor neuropathies.  

A Strong History

Dr. Sudberg has additional work experience with the Ortho-McNeil Neurologics Division of Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, where he worked as a medical information scientist. In addition, he worked as a cardiology technician in the Department of Cardiology at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and research assistant in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center. 

Dr. Jordan Sudberg completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital after completing his internship in internal medicine at Staten Island University Hospital. He earned his M.D. from St. George’s University and holds a B.S. in psychology from Yeshiva University.  

Complementing his experience, Dr. Sudberg is a member of the American Council on Exercise Certification, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and World Academy of Pain Medicine Ultrasonography.
